The
number of calories a body needs varies from person to person. A normal person
requires about 2000 calories on an average in a day but it may be more or less
depending on your height, weight, gender, and age and activity level.
For
people who are dieting and trying to lose weight snacks or in between meals can
serve as an ally in your efforts. Eating small and healthy meals, which are
less than 200 calories, can regulate your blood sugar, prevent over eating and
improve metabolism.
They should also contain nutritional value in the form of
vitamins, fiber contents, protein and other dietary essentials. Less than 200
calories can also be served as a dish for breakfast, lunch or dinner or it may
come consumed as the main dish.
